![]() Thus far, we have 5 miles of single track. Video! Video! Video! We were lucky enough to have a participant do last fall's adventure tour with a helmet cam! Please check out the really neat video he made for us. Thank you Brian Managan! Printable Flyer is available Here Frequently Asked Questions: As we roll toward our fall adventure tour we expected some questions, so I will attempt to answer the ones we expect! For the very new people: We are a Club that has been around since 1935. We have promoted a variety of motorcycling activities from economy runs, to road tours, enduro, hare scrambles, hill climb, dual sport and NOW Adventure Tours. This is our 8th event, and number six in a continuous series of spring and fall events! We own our own property (Club house and some acreage) so the profits we make on our events goes to pay our property tax. We also donate over $2500 a year to “LOCAL” charities! Also, try and remember that there are expenses involved with this event: website maintenance, advertising, insurance, supplies, and of course what YOU eat and drink add up very fast…. We have a very very small margin on your entry! So what do you get for your entry fee? You get a route that has been pre-ridden and designed. No detours and it has been maximized to give you as great a scenery coupled with the best/neatest (dirt/seasonal) roads as possible. You will find a gas break scheduled along with a lunch break with lunch provided. You get a route sheet, GPS download and the corners are marked. WE HAVE TAKEN THE RISK OUT of touring this wonderful part of the state! You get a place to leave your truck/trailer and you get NEW FRIENDS to ride with. Take a look at our previous events pictures, we offer GREAT value. Expect an event that is big bike friendly. Knobbie tires are not required. Loads of folks run DOT dual sport tires with great success. Some of the roads that are well shaded might be a little slick and would be challenging for anyone with “smooth” street tires. We offer bypass routes for those sections. The event is open to motorcycles only, and you will be riding through/near villages and be operating on state and county highways. We aren’t the police, so we will not be checking paperwork thoroughly although the police themselves might. We ask you have headlight, tail light, current plate, and a helmet. This event will include single track! We have been trying our hardest, and trust me, it ain’t easy to do, we got 5 miles of trail that will be marked with a different color arrow. It’s a great start! I think that takes care of most questions! If you still have one feel free to contact us. And OH! We are planning a two day for next JUNE… make sure you bend our ear about what we need to do to make that event extra successful. Side Slider |
